A founding member of the Funatics, Stan Einhorn has been performing improv since 2002. In one of his early classes taught by Um…Gee…Um, his instructor said, “Improv, it’s cheaper than therapy.” He has been hooked ever since. After seeing Stan perform, one of his friends said, ” When he is onstage, he looks like and acts like a great dane puppy.” He took this as a complement and doggedly strives to keep that image alive and well.
A fan of accents, Shakespearian style and all forms of jocularity, Stan’s laugh is so distinctive that many a performer in Santa Cruz has commented that they can tell he is in the audience even when the house lights are down. Come and share the merriment with him and his fellow Funatics.
